I want to dedicate one single post about last winter. Thus, at least the diversity of my job all through the year will be expressed.
It has been a winter without my work as ski patrol, as I used to do in Sant Joan de l’Erm over the last 15 years, winter after winter.
This winter I have worked exclusively as a crosscountry ski teacher in Aransa, Lles, Guils Fontanera and a little in Sant Joan as well.
It hasn’t been quite a good winter in terms of snow, neither the Covid rules allowed us quite to work.
These last conditions, snow and Covid, have limited everyone.

On 8 February we had our first ski lesson, as soon as this was enabled and on 18 March we had the last one already, when the conditions of the tracks weren’t good enough anymore.
Six weeks of work, but with quite a stuffed agenda. Skiing has become more than ever something exclusive and special.
I have noticed some tremendous desire to go out, both among pupils and teachers. A strong desire to enjoy the snow, to learn to ski.
A strong drive to look for solutions, to accept hard conditions and do everything you can to get out of the classrooms.
Trips to the countryside, to the mountains, far from the school building, in the open air, with skis or with snow shoes, are the best thing you can do!
