So, we mainly made excursions by kayak. Though….. Kayaks&Summits, as the name clearly indicates, goes from the lake in the bottom of the valley to the top of the mountains. Therefore, on foot and by bike as well.

Above, pictures of the climb of the Serra d’Airosa with a Flemish family. The storm that approached in the afternoon would have caught us on top of the Monturull (2.759m.). Therefore we descended earlier and adapted the route. It’s important to be flexible in these cases. By the way, the alternative was attractive enough: The lakes ‘Estanys de La Pera’, the creek , the waterfall, the orchids and a toad.

Next, three pictures of the impressionating Cadí Mountainrange. The views on the Cadí form part of the daily life of the people here, but this Walloon family has seen it from real close.

We made a circular hike that included the Pic de Comabona (2.554m.) The climb is relatively comfortable through the Pas dels Gosolans. The next part follows the ridge while the last track leads back following the wall at the bottom.

Finally, four pictures of the ascent of the Cogulló del Turp (1.620m.). These Paris yougsters had made an excursion by kayak the day before. The Serra de Turp ‘bathes its feet’ in the reservoir. So you could say they’ve seen it from head to toe!
